Please wear a leotard, tights, ballet slippers, and hair in a bun for ballet classes. *In order to take pre pointe and pointe you must be enrolled in ballet class before or after the pointe class. Dancers MUST have teacher approval to be en pointe. Dancers en pointe must take 3 – one-hour ballet classes 3 days per week to continue dancing en pointe.

**Pointe classes, kindly wear a leotard, tights, ballet slippers, and hair in a bun. To be eligible for Pre Pointe/Beg Pointe and Pointe classes, you need to be enrolled in the 1 hour ballet class before or after. En pointe dancing is subject to teacher approval. Moreover, to continue dancing En pointe, dancers must take three one-hour ballet classes for three days every week.
** You must be enrolled in or take the ballet class prior to pointe class
Studio Attire and Policies (updated August 2024)
Attire by class:
Pre- Dance & Combo Classes- Girls: Leotard, tights, pink ballet slippers and tap or jazz shoe, hair pulled back in a bun. Skirts are ok. Boy: Black legging/Dance pant, white t-shirt.
Ballet – Girls: Leotard , tights, pink ballet slippers, hair pulled back in a bun (warmups and skirts may be worn with instructors’ approval). Boy: Black legging/Dance pant, white t-shirt.
Pointe/Pre-Pointe – Leotard and tights. Footwear may be ballet flats, or pointe shoes (pointe shoes may only be worn with instructors’ approval). Hair pulled back in a bun.
Jazz, Contemporary & Modern– Girls: Leotard of any color, fitted bottom (black tights, leggings, or jazz pants) Boys: Comfortable, easy to move in clothing. For footwear jazz shoes, socks, or paws (check with the instructor for their preference). Hair pulled back.
Tap – Comfortable easy to move in clothing and tap shoes. Hair pulled back.
Tumbling– Leotard, shorts and t-shirt, athletic shorts or leggings, no shoes. This is a safety requirement. Hair pulled back.
Hip Hop, Non- Ballet, Jazz or Tap Classes– Loose-fitting clothing that is easy to move in. For footwear socks or tennis shoes that have not been worn outside. Check with the instructor for more details.
